In Nigeria, the mortgage system is not working
Lagos- Ibadan express road is the busiest road and we will intervene on that road

odi and Boko Haram? In odi people that died were old men, old women.None of the militants did.The attack on Odi never solved militancy prob
When they say this amount is for food in the state house, it is definitely not to feed the president and his family
:There is a lot of misconception about the state house or the villa(about the feeding amounts etc)
Boko Haram is still operating under cover wearing mask, ..no dialogue is going on anywhere
On Boko Haram and dialogue:Presently there is no dialogue between Boko Haram and govt.
Nigerians will soon know “Jonathan and his team mean well for this country”-Jonathan
43.3billion Dollars is Nigeria’s foreign reserve and we are growing
The challenges have to do with insecurity.. we never thought it will get to this level so our security infrastructure( is battling to cope)
The future of this country is quite bright
On corruption, Halliburton.. it is better to be slow to do the right thing..
I wouldnt want to go into national assembly cases.. Basically monetization is good, but the issue is with the implementation
You expect a direct to buy a car to run round this country? It is very complex
Bayelsa state is very rural state, we don’t even have houses and you are telling me to sell houses to commissioners.. it will not work
The key thing about monetization policy:Monetization policy is good..
I have never promised to reduce poverty.I promised to create wealth
We have done very well in terms of fighting corruption
I believe the effort this govt has putin in terms of fighting corruption, I don’t think any other person has don it
I told Aganga that Nigerians are not comfortable with the oil industry and there was an audit
The oil industry, all over the world the extractive industry is always associated withall kinds of corruption
Fertilizer issue also sanitized,says Jonathan
For us to have done that we must have dealt with political corruption
we had free and fair elections in Ondo,Edo..
First and foremost is to sanitize the election
Are you fighting corruption? This government is fighting corruption and the results are obvious
There is positive trend everywhere..the private sector is expanding. On textile, the textile industry is coming up

Any time there is a change in policy there is always fuel queue
Four years is a very short term before you make an impact.. wait until 2014
It is too early to ask a sitting president whether he will contest or not
Mimiko was in PDP bfore,it is more like a PDP family divided into two
In Edo and Ondo, we contested against incumbents
It is even dangerous for this country if PDP controls all the states
PDP is doing wonderfully well
on the $80 or not oil benchmark for the budget..Jonathan said Okonjo Iweala’s position is “professionally done”
Executive and parliament may differ “but that does not mean we are boxing each other”
There is nowhere in the world where there is no disagreement between executive and parliament…The president has power over the cabinet
..Mr President will not influence any thing to favour Bayelsa state..
I have directed all relevant agencies to go and do their work professionally and present their report to vice president
On the Rivers vs Bayelsa Boundary question:..It is very very sensitive area
But the president seems to have avoided answering the question:will you run?
If we are are able to sanitize the electoral system, the double tenure is ok
Nigerians believe the best thing is to maintain the double tenure
Are you running again? We believe if you avoid this second tenure issue you will reduce tension..
That it is too early for the president to make comments on the constitution
He says he will like to keep quiet and let Nigerians talk on the ammendments they want on the contitution
Media chat:Jonathan says he will not like to dictate to the national assembly on constitution review
