Jigawa NSCDC Raids Hideout Of Drug Baron

Officers and men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa state has succeeded in raiding the hideouts of the most wanted ,notorious and dangerous drug dealer that scared security agencies in jigawa state. The suspect ,Mal. Adamu Ubale, 44 years, was based in Kudai, an outskirt of Dutse, the Jigawa state capital,.

A statement signed by the NSCDC’s Jigawa Commandant, Alh. Muhammad Gidado indicated that the raid, the suspect narrowly escaped but his motorcycle was impounded, while hard drugs and dangerous weapons were recovered. Other items recovered the raid are 102 tubes of soliso, one block and countless raps of Indian hemp, knives, “zakami”, “gariyo”, among others.

According to the statement the name of the suspect has been their wanted list since August this year, but he had been “dodging us thinking that his Juju and in sorcery will him”.
In a related development, a senior Magistrate court in Dutse has sentenced a 419ner , Alh. Danladi Haruna a 45 year man to six months imprisonment. The suspect was charged for cheating and duping, an offence punishable according to section 17 of Jigawa state penal code laws
The learned judge, Justice Amina Dahiru convicted the accused person and sentenced him to six months imprisonment with an option of N20,000 fine. Similarly, the court has ordered the accused person to pay his victims their monies amounting to a huge sum within three months.
