Imoke leads FG delegation to FIFA U-17 World Cup in UAE

of Cross River, Liyel Imoke lead a Federal Government delegation to the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup which kicked off in the United Arab Emirate, UAE , October 17.
The chairman of the publicity committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Emeka Inyama, disclosed this to newsmen in Abuja, on Thursday.
Liyel Imoke of Cross Rivers State leaving Dubai, tomorrow, he is the leader of this contingent and he is going to give the team backing.
“The team was prepared in Calabar; so, the at the Golden Eaglets opening match on against Mexico,’’ Inyama said.
Inyama, who is also the Chairman of the Nigeria League, NNL, noted that Imoke’s love the Eaglets earned him the leader of delegation slot.
Newsdiaryonline sports recall that the team arrived in the city of Al-Ain, UAE, on the tournament which is expected to on November, 8.
The Eaglets won the World championship in 1985, 1993 and 2007; they also won the African Under-17 Championship in 2001 and 2007, and were runners-up in 1995.
