nlc-logoThe Nigeria Labour Congress Kaduna State Council has noted with greatest concern the on- going strike action by the health workers in the health sector in the state which has compounded the health challenges of the good citizens of the state and as such the
labour has solidly in support of the Health workers in their struggle .

This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the Chairman of NLC Kaduna state council Comrade Adamu Ango which was made available to Newsdiaryonline in Kaduna.

The statement called on the Kaduna State government to as a matter of urgency honor the agreement it entered with Health Workers in 2011 so as to ensure the restoration of normal services in the health sector in the interest of Kaduna State and the people in general .

The statement further appealed to Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero of Kaduna State to honor the above stated agreement and that the Nigeria Labour Congress should not be blamed for any action that may arise.

It could be recalled that on the 14th of August 2011 there was an agreement between the Kaduna State government and Joint Health sector Association and Union over the implementation of 30% CONHESS Balance Health workers . But activists said state government has refused to honour the agreement signed between the two parties.
