#TrackNigeria: The Presidential Support Committee on Monday described President Muhammadu Buhari as a re-branded personality who enjoys unwavering popularity in the South-East region

Mr Chermberline Adiaso, South-East Zonal Coordinator of the group said this during a road-show to herald President Buhari’s visit to Abia and Imo, on Tuesday.

Adiaso said Buhari’s achievements in the zone would speak a lot for him to guarantee his re-election in February.

He said his team would work tirelessly to ensure a landslide victory for Buhari and APC in the zone.

“Last election we know we didn’t do too well, but in this election I can assure everybody that the South-East will give Mr. President more than 80 per cent of the votes.

“We don’t have anybody challenging him for the position of the presidency,” he said.

He said the road-show was to sensitise the people about Buhari’s presidential campaign visit.

Adiaso, who spoke shortly after inspecting Enyimba International Stadium, Aba, venue of Tuesday’s presidential rally expressed satisfaction with the level of preparations.

“Everything is almost in place. The security is ready. Everybody is yearning for his coming,” he said.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the group earlier combed the streets of Aba, sensitising the people to support Buhari and other APC candidates in the state.

NAN also reports that the group later moved to Owerri, where it carried out the message of Buhari re-election bid.
