Ganduje Dissolves Kwankwaso’s Cabinet, Discharges Other Political Appointees

Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje  has  relieved  all Commissioners in the immediate past administration of Rabiu Kwankwaso of their appointments with immediate effect. Equally, the governor relieved all political appointees of their appointments.

This development was  contained in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Rabi’u Sulaiman Bichi.

According to the statement, the Commissioners have been directed to handover to Permanent Secretaries of the respective Ministries while Special Advisers, Directors – General, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, Personal Assistants and other political appointees in Government Ministries, Parastatals and Agencies are to handover to the most senior officers in their agencies, parastatals and departments.

It expressed appreciation to them for their contributions to the development of the state during the tenure of the immediate APC past administration in the state and wished them well in their future undertakings.

The statement hoped that they would be willing to make their services available whenever they are called to serve the state in any capacity in the future.
