Future Assured trains 500 youths in Kano



In fulfillment of the promise of Wife of the to the of Kano during the graduation of 2200 who acquired skills in Kano, a second batch of beneficiaries have received training in the of paint making, leather , barbing, as well as rabbitry and catfish farming.

The training, which was conducted for male youth beneficiaries, is consistent with the target of Mrs. Buhari’ programme, Future Assured, which are , youth and children.

Mrs. Buhari’ message at the opening ceremony was delivered by the Coordinator of the Future Assured Programme in Kano state, Mrs. Ramatu Mukhtar Rabiu, where she charged the beneficiaries to use the skills they have acquired in building sustainable to pull themselves out of poverty and help other youths.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed appreciation to Mrs. Buhari for them the opportunity to chart an economic course for their lives by providing them with useful and sustainable skills.

A breakdown of the skills trained indicate barbing, rabbitry and catfish farming received 100 beneficiaries each, leatherworks received 50, while paint-making received the highest beneficiaries with 150.

The weeklong training, which commenced 31st October, 2017 was concluded , 3rd November, 2017.
