The Minister of Sports and Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi has given kudos to Nigeria’s Under-20 women’s team, the Falconets, for their brilliant start at the ongoing FIFA Under-20 women’s World Cup taking place in Japan.
The Nigerian girls beat Korea Republic by two unreplied goals.
The Minister described the girls as brilliant, fast and strong, adding that they displayed the typical Nigerian style with amazing dribbling skills and good ball possession.
“These girls are amazing,” the Minister said. “I urge them to do Nigeria proud by displaying this same great form in their next match against Brazil and throughout the tournament.”
