President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the reappointment of federal officers for another term in office.
A statement by Special assistant (Media) to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation said those whose tenures have been renewed include ,Dr. Aminu Ladan Sharehu as Director and Chief Executive of The National Teachers Institute Kaduna (NTI) with effect from the 1st of February, 2013;Engr. Habu A. Gumel as Executive Secretary/ chief Executive officer of the National Lottery Trust Fund for a second and final tenure of four years, with effect from the 1st of December, 2013; and Mrs Taiwo Theresa Akande as the Rector of Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti for a second and final tenure of four years , with effect from the 19th of December, 2013.

PRESS STATEMENT
RE-APPOINTMENT OF THE DIRECTOR/CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF THE NATIONAL TEACHERS INSTITUTE KADUNA; THE EXECUTIVE SECRTARY OF THE NATIONAL LOTTERY TRUST FUND AND THE RECTOR OF THE FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC ADO EKITI.
His Excellency, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has approved the re-appointment of the following Officers for another term in office:
1. Dr. Aminu Ladan Sharehu as Director and Chief Executive of The National Teachers Institute Kaduna (NTI) with effect from the 1st of February, 2013;
2. Engr. Habu A. Gumel as Executive Secretary/ chief Executive officer of the National Lottery Trust Fund for a second and final tenure of four years, with effect from the 1st of December, 2013; and
3. Mrs Taiwo Theresa Akande as the Rector of Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti for a second and final tenure of four years , with effect from the 19th of December, 2013.
