Elections: Minister commends INEC, expresses optimism on polls’ outcome

#TrackNigeria: The Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu, has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for ensuring the timely arrival of personnel and materials in Saki, Oyo State.

The Minister, who arrived at his Surulere Komi Road, Ooreofe Polling Unit 20 in Saki, Oyo State  at 7.58, also expressed optimism that his party and all candidates on its platform would  emerge victorious

“Our party has campaigned all over the country and you can see the reception and acceptability of PMB.

“We hope all of the support will translate to votes  today for our most honest and transparent president in the history of Nigeria,” he said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that voting commenced  at about 08 24, with the minister casting his vote at 9.07 a.m.(NAN)
