The State Chairman of the party, Pastor Praise Edeh said in Enugu that the essence of the fasting and prayer was to ask God to help Nigeria to conduct violence free elections in Feb 16 for Presidential and National Assembly and March 2 for Governorship and state assembly.

The Chairman said that the seven days fasting and prayer started on February 2, and ended today with road show on major streets of Enugu.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the party faithful moved from Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium to Ogbete Main Market, Akwata Market, Coal Camp, Agbani Rd, Mayor Market to Gariki and ended in the Redeemed Christian Church of God headquarters in Enugu.

NAN reports that they campaigned and prayed at the different markets where they stopped to educate people on the slogan of the party.

In her remarks, the gubernatorial candidate of the party, Mrs. Nnenna Anozie, appreciated the supporters of the party for a job well done.

Anozie pointed out that if she won the election, the people of the state would not regret voting her into power.

She expressed her happiness for the confidence her party entrusted on her by nominating her to vie for governorship election.
