Updated:DSS Quizzes,Releases Asari Dokubo in Abuja

Asari-DokuboReports today said the Department of State Security, DSS has arrested the leader of the one of Niger Delta’s ex militant groups Alhaji Asari Dokubo in Abuja.
Reports said Dokubo was sighted at the DSS headquarters with his lawyer earlier on Thursday. His arrest is believed to be in connection with his recent comments threatening to make Nigeria ungovernable if President Goodluck Jonathan loses the 2015 elections.
He was released later in the day, reports said, a move may elicit questions from critics over the seemingly ‘brief’ nature of his interrogation.
The DSS has warned that it would not tolerate inflammatory statements from politicians henceforth.
That announcement was followed by DSS invitation and subsequent invasion of the residence of former Minister of FCT Mallam Nasir El Rufai. The ex minister later reported to the DSS headquarters where he was detained for over 15 hours.
So when Dokubo made his disturbing statemen,t the opposition APC in a statement on Tuesday wondered whether the DSS was hibernating instead of moving against Dokubo.
