Daniel Mourns Obadare, Adegbite and Akinnola

DANIELWith demise of Pastor Timothy Obadare, Dr Samuel Adegbite and Chief Bayo Akinnola, Yorubaland has lost three illustrious sons who in their own ways contributed immensely to development of Yorubaland, and humanity. Otunba Gbenga Daniel,

Former Governor of Ogun stated  this while reacting to death of men who he said acquitted creditably well  in their chosen career and professional callings.

“Dr Adegbite was a distinguished banker who nurtured different of and worked assiduously for development of banking profession in . He was well respected for his unblemished integrity and unrivalled professionalism which were apparent all through his sterling career.

Chief Bayo Akinnola on his part was a committed industrialist who sat on the board of several companies and promoted indigenous entrepreneurship. He midwifed several companies which contributed to and the growth of the country’s economy. He was committed to this cause till the very end and he exemplified the enterprise and

doggedness of the Yoruba people. He was also very committed to the promotion of tradition and cultural heritage.

Pa Obadare was a fine example of the doggedness of the human spirit against all odds. He carried the gospel of Christ to different parts of the World and showed that a leader could rise above bigotry and discrimination in evangelism. Through his ministry many were restored and the lost and the forgotten were rehabilitated. He was a true soldier of Christ who died at his post.

Yorubaland and will definitely miss these illustrious citizens who contributed their own quota to the development of their fatherland,” Otunba Daniel said in the statement released in Sagamu
