COVID-19: Nigeria confirms 2 new cases, toll now 44


The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has confirmed two new cases of coronavirus, COVID-19.

According to the Centre on its Twitter handle posted Tuesday evening, the two cases have travel history to Germany and the UK, respectively.

The confirmed cases are one in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and the other in Bauchi state.

“As at 06.25pm on 24th March, there are 44 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. Two have been discharged with one death.
