Bauchi SUBEB trains 2,500 head teachers on covid-19 protocols

The Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB)  said on Friday that it has trained no fewer than 2,500 head teachers on Covid-19 protocols and other safety measures.

Malam Abdullahi Mahammnad, the spokesperson of the Agency said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Bauchi.

He said the five-day training was meant to ensure that the head teachers maintained strict adherence to safety measures against the virus in the schools..

He explained that the participants were adequately exposed to symptoms and preventive measures against the virus.

“They were directed to implement all the protocols in their respective schools,” Mahammnad said.

He said the training was conducted across the 20 Local Government Areas in the state, adding that the Board would monitor the implementation of the protocol directive.

Similarly he said, the Board, has trained no fewer than 300 support officers on school management and upgraded eleven primary schools to the JSS status to increase access to education. (NAN)
