An explosion has been reported in Jalingo, the Taraba state capital .The explosion occurred at a popular area known for the brewing of local beer, said reports Thursday night .
At least two people have been reportedly killed and many other were wounded.
This explosion occurred on a day the state Deputy Governor, Sani Abubakar was impeached by the House of Assembly for alleged abuse of office.
No group had claimed responsibility for the explosion at the time of filing this report.
It would however be recalled that Taraba state had a few months witnessed a bomb explosion by men on motor-cycles who were also killed in the blast.
