APC rally: Police task Kano residents on peaceful conduct

#Tracknigeria: The Kano State Police Command has advised political party leaders to warn their followers against any act capable of denting the image of the state during the APC Presidential campaign rally on Thursday.

The advice was given in a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Abdullahi Haruna in Kano on Wednesday.

“The general public is hereby enjoined to exhibit hospitality and good conduct by turning out peacefully and respectfully to welcome the president.

“Parents, guardians and community and political leaders are to warn their followers not to engage in any act that may dent the image of the state,” he said.

It said Police and other sister security agents would be deployed to control traffic and the expected mammoth crowd that would turn out to receive the president.

NAN reports that during the visit, the president is expected to inaugurate some projects executed by Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje. (NAN)
