Update:NEMA Confirms Bomb Blast at Kaduna “Worship Centre”

A spokesman of Nigeria’s emergency authority,NEMA Yushau Shuaib has confirmed the explosion in Malali ,Kaduna.A statement NEMA facebook page said  “After receiving reports from our call centre over ‘bomb explosion’ at a worship centre in Malali, Kaduna, NEMA mobilised rescuers and other response agencies to the scene.A number of casualties evacuated to hospitals. The incident was suspected to be triggered by a suicide bomber in a car which relevant securities may soon determine.”

The Police have reportedly confirmed 4 dead, while seven others were injured in the blast.

Another Bomb Blast Hits Kaduna Catholic Church

A bomb  blast hit a  Catholic Church at Angwan Yero  near Malali, Kaduna this morning.Those living in the area said the blast went off between 8.30am  and 8.45am.

The explosion occurred at St Rita’s Catholic Church at Angwan Yero.There were hints that explosion may have been carried out by a  suspected suicide bomber  in a white jeep.The scattered flesh of the suspected suicide bomber ,according to  reporter, litters the scene of the blast.No official account was available.Also the casualty figure  was not available immediately  but  officials were seen attending to the victims.

The victims are believed to have been moved to some of Kaduna’s major hospitals like 44 Military hospital and St Gerrald Hospital among others.

Kaduna has been one of the cities in the north hit by bomb explosions in recent times.Remarkably, the bomb blasts in Kaduna have been restricted to Northern part of the metroplis.
