“So, we are here in Sokoto state today,  in collaboration with NDE and Senator Wamakko,  to support no fewer than 10,000 women and youth with various working tools, to make them self reliant,” she said.

Mrs Buhari, while commending NDE for sustaining its laudable invaluable interventions, also lauded Senator Wamakko for his giant strides towards supporting the masses of the state.

“This is part of the pledges we made to Nigerians in 2015, to create more job opportunities and improve their living standard. We have achieved a lot in this direction and I am optimistically confident that Nigerians will testify to that as a collective success.”

Senator Wamakko also said that, the All Progressives Congress  (APC), and President Muhammadu Buhari are committed to further taking Nigeria to greater heights.

“Nigerians should therefore reelect President Muhammadu Buhari, to sustain his laudable, tangible programmes and policies. Nigerians should also massively cast their votes for the party’s candidates, at all levels.”

The Director-General of NDE, Dr Nasir Ladan Argungu admonished the  beneficiaries to judiciously utilize the items, to improve their living standard.

The NDE Boss also warned them against selling the items, as well as misusing the grants, so as not to defeat the aims of the gesture.
