Gov. Muhammad Badaru of Jigawa has mourned the death of Alhaji Ahmed Joda, a former Federal Super Permanent Secretary and Chairman of President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2015 Transition Committee.
Badaru commiserated with the government and people of Adamawa state over the death of the elder statesman in a statement signed on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media and Public Relations, Alhaji Habibu Kila.
He said Joda, as a seasoned administrator and elder statesman, who excelled in both his public and private lives, died in the service of humanity.
The governor pointed out that Joda, who chaired the transition committee that ushered in President Muhammad Buhari’s administration in 2015, was one of the finest public servants the nation had ever produced. (NAN)
