President Goodluck Jonathan has confirmed the appointment of Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi as the substantive sports minister.Abdullahi who was hitherto minister of youth development had doubled as the acting sports minister.He was a journalist and columnist before his appointment as commissioner in Kwara state from where he became a minister afterwards.
Reports reaching Newsdiaryonline also indicate Mallam Inuwa Abdulkadir who was today sworn in as a minister is to take over from Abdullahi as the new minister of youth development.Abdulkadir was commissioner for justice and attorney general of Sokoto state before his new appointment.
