The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has approved the appointment of Mr Abdulsalam Alhassan as the corps’ new State Coordinator for Plateau.
Ms Jeniffer Laha, the Ag Head of Public Relations Unit of NYSC in Plateau, made this known in a statement in Jos on Tuesday.
Laha said that Alhassan took over from Mrs Olufumilayo Akin-Moses, adding that the change of leadership was effected in other state directorates of the corps nationwide.
“The new state coordinator hails from Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State.
“He is a graduate of Kaduna State Polytechnic and hold a Master’s degree from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University,” she stated.
The new state coordinator prior to his new posting was the Deputy Director, General Services Department, NYSC, National Headquarters, Abuja. (NAN)
