Super Eagles gaffer, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi has rolled out terms that must be fulfilled before he would rescind his decision to quit as the senior national team coach.Keshi who led Nigeria to clinch her third African Cup of Nation trophy on Sunday night in South Africa, is widely reported to have handed in his resignation letter to his employers, the Nigeria Football Federation.
The federation has debunked the claims that the coach has tendered his resignation.But impeccable sources disclosed to Newsdiaryonline.com on Monday night, that the coach has spelt out tough conditions that must be adhered, for him to retain his job with the federation.
Though details of Keshi’s tough terms before rescinding his alleged resignation are unavailable , the coach is believed to have said he is not going to work with the incumbent president of the federation, Alhaji Aminu Maigari and Green,” our source stated
“ Keshi is bitter and he has written his resignation letter.He complained bitterly over the treatment meted to him by the Nigeria Football Federation, including the fact he had no official car, no accommodation provided for him as promised”,it was learnt.
An insider said, “before the Ivory Coast match, Keshi almost slapped Christopher Green, who is the chairman of the technical committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, because Green walked up to Keshi and said the federation will sack him and replace him with Zambian coach, Herve Reinhard”.
It was learnt “Keshi now told him, how can they talk about employing, a coach that did not go past the group stages in South Africa?”
