A devastating bomb blast ripped through Mubi, the commercial nerve center of Adamawa State killing more than 50 persons and injuring 45 others.
This development was confirmed by the Adamawa State police Command by the Public Relations Officer SP. Othman Abubakar that a small boy detonated the devastating bomb blast at the crowded mosque at about 5am.
An eye witness who simply identified himself as Danladi said the devastating bomb detonated by the dreaded insurgents Boko Haram at about 5am today at the central mosque located at Dazalla a crowded suburb near Arahan Kunu after the welcome to Mubi toll gate.
The bomb exploded right inside the crowded mosque killed those persons who were in the mosque for early morning prayers.
Security sources also said the National Emergency Management Agency NAMA had mobilized to the affected area and removed the injured persons to the Mubi General Hospital.
