Emmanuel Kwaktip, Nyawsu Esu and Oladepo temitiope, were on Tuesday arraigned in Ikeja  for allegedly stealing parts of two cars.

The police brought the trio before an Ikeja Ikeja Magistrates’s Court.

The defendants,  however,  pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Insp John Iberedem,  told the court that the defendants committed the crime on Oct. 12.

Iberedem said that they were arrested by the security guards who took them to Ogba Police Division.

He said that the trio stole parts of a Toyota Prado  worth N5.5 million and parts of a Toyota Hilux valued at five million Naira.

Ibered said that the Toyota Prado belonged to one Mr Yomi Otubela while the  Toyota Hilux was property of one  Mr Olatunbosun Olaniyan.

The Magistrate, Mrs Ejiro Kubeinje, granted the defendants bail in the sum of N400,000 with two sureties each.
