There have been reports of massive   protests   on Monday  in Benin over the scandalous conduct of the ACN primaries in the state .Newsdiaryonline learnt  that protesters stormed the state’s secretariat of the party but the officials voted with their feet.

According to an Edo politician who spoke under the condition of anonymity, ``Protesters were daring the Governor Adams Oshiomhole to come and address. ’’People thought that as a comrade he will come out to address the protesters   but he couldn’t. I am sure he is scared of the people’s anger.’’
