Citizen report                       Newsdiaryonline  Mar 20,2010

The Former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Obong Victor Attah, who was at the three day Fiddau prayer and to commisserate with the family of the Late Lamido Adamawa, Dr. Alhaji Aliyu Musdafa, has described him as a knowledgeable personality and embodiment of wisdom.

Attah, who knew the Late Lamido in the late 70's disclosed that he first came in contact with the late when he was asked to design a storey building and to restructure some parts of the palace as an architect.

Attah said that he had tapped from the wealth of experience of late Lamido, when he was Governor of Akwa Ibom State and had used the pieces of advice he gathered from him for the running of his state.

He described the late Lamido as one that appreciated good things and was a source of encouragement to people who desired to develop themselves intellectually and morally.

He said as a result of the architectural work, the Lamido was impressed and had decided to adopt him as a son to the extent that late Musdafa offered him a land to build his present personal house in Yola.

The former Governor described his trip to Yola, as a home coming in view of the presence he has established in Yola in particular and Adamawa State in general which he hinged to the instrumentality of the late Lamido who made Yola to be a home away from home.

When Obong Victor Attah came into the palace along with Senator Jibril Aminu, he commisserated with the Governor of Adamawa State, Vice Admiral Murtala Nyako (rtd), former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, the Galadima Adamawa, Alhaji Murtala Aminu.

He also expressed same to the Chiroma Adamawa, Alhaji Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa, who is heir apparent to the throne because of his status as the eldest son of the late lamido. Obong Victor Attah used the forum to meet old friends whom, he had established relationship with in the late 70's.
